Some students in NB scoring below targets

The results of New Brunswick's provincial assessments say some students are scoring below targets.
The government says about 54 per cent of anglophone Grade 6 students were successful on the provincial reading assessment -- with the target being 85 per cent.
Anglophone Grade 2 and Grade 9 reading results were also below target.
The assessments are done yearly for reading, writing, math, French and science and the results are used to identify areas of improvement.
