Trucks, tools stolen from Centreville business

The West District RCMP are investigating the thefts of two pickup trucks and a number of tools in Centreville.

Police say three people broke into the Brun-Way Highway Operations yard around 1 a.m. on Monday and stole the trucks, which were marked with SNC Lavalin logos.

One was located lodged in the fence surrounding the yard, while the second was found in Perth-Andover on Wednesday.

RCMP say a storage area in the yard was broken into, and tools taken include a Husqvarna cut-off saw, a Husqvarna gas drill, and a Stihl chainsaw.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
