West District RCMP investigate theft of truck, gas
The West District RCMP have released two photos to help identify a person of interest in an investigation into a stolen truck and thefts of gas.
A 2015 black Chevrolet Silverado truck with the New Brunswick licence plate NEV 254 was stolen from the driveway of a home on Route 103 in Wakefield sometime overnight on April 23rd.
RCMP say it was involved in three thefts of gas: around 2 a.m. on April 23rd at the Ultramar on Highway 190 in Carlingford, around 5:20 a.m. at the Petro Canada on Highway 550 in Hartford, and at 10:27 p.m. on April 25th at the Mads Truck Stop on Highway 625 in Lake George.
The suspect is described as approximately 30- to 40-years-old with a slim build and dark hair.
