Woodstock Fire Chief Retiring
The Chief of the Fire Department of the Town of Woodstock has retired
In a press release, Chief Administrative Officer John Pinsent announced yesterday that Ricky Nicholson will be leaving the Fire Department after more than 15 years as full-time Chief, and numerous years as the volunteer Chief.
The town says it will now revert back to a model which has a volunteer Fire Chief at the helm, with volunteers electing Deputy Chief Harold McLellan to succeed Chief Nicholson.
Further, the town says Ryan Gould has been appointed the Deputy Chief, and the full list of officers and fire fighters will be posted to the town website in the near future.
