27-year-old man shot in Montreal North
Police are investigating a late Saturday night shooting in Montreal North.
They found the victim, a 27-year-old man, on Paris and Martial around 11 p.m., Saturday.
He suffered from a gunshot wound to the upper body, and was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Montreal Police spokesperson Véronique Dubuc tells CJAD 800 they're not ruling out a gang connection, adding that the victim is known to police.
He's not co-operating with police.
They deployed a K-9 unit which did not find any bullet casings, but it did find a knife nearby. They're not sure how it connects to the incident.
The scene was on lock-down until 2:30 a.m.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Their investigation is ongoing.
