Another arrest after fatal downtown stabbing

Montreal police said they've identified the 20th murder victim of 2018, saying he's 46-years old, but gave no name, that it's not information they normally make public.

Spokesman Manuel Couture said the man's family has come forward after he went missing.

He was stabbed early Thursday morning downtown during an armed robbery.

Police confirm two arrests have been made, including one on Friday night.

The 40-year old man's already been formally charged with 2nd degree murder.

A 42-year old suspect, arrested shortly after the incident, was to be officially charged on Friday.
