Believe it or not! More potholes being repaired this year than last
The Plante Administration says when it comes to filling potholes, they are ahead of the game.
City spokesperson Philip Sabourin says that city crews have managed to fill 45,000 potholes this year, compared to 35,000 over the same period last year.
The Journal de Montreal says 14 automated machines are dealing with the problem.
The city is urging citizens to call to report potholes by calling 311 or to take a photo using the Montréal – Resident Services App which will geo-locate the pothole allowing a crew to be dispatched to the area automatically.
