Biker seeks help with medical costs via crowd-funding

A reputed member of the Hells Angels is turning to crowd-funding in order to help pay for his medical bills.

The girlfriend of Phillip "Crazy" Boudreault has posted his plight on GoFundMe, and is seeking 50 thousand dollars after he was shot in the back last April.

According to the Journal de Montreal, Boudreault was a high-ranking member of the Nomads Ontario chapter. The 41 year old was the target of an attempted murder, when a shooter inside an SUV pulled alongside Boudreault's bike and fired nearly a dozen shots. A bullet lodged near Boudreult's spinal column, and another punctured one of his lungs.

So far, nearly $4,000 has been raised since the GoFundMe campaign began four days ago.
