CDC reminder: don't reuse condoms

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the U.S. found the need to remind people that condoms are not reusable.

The organization says it decided to tweet out that warning because it learned that some people wash out condoms and reuse them, instead of immediately throwing them away.

The Centers say that re-applying a used condom is difficult to begin with, plus a second use has an increased risk of breakage, slippage or leakage.

To boot, washing may not remove bacteria and viruses, so re-use increases the risk of infection.
