City of Montreal to hold public consultation on racism and systemic discrimination
The city of Montreal is starting to lay the groundwork for a public consultation on racism and systemic discrimination.
The executive committee has given the greenlight to the Office of Public Consultation to hold the consultation.
This comes after several community activist groups gathered the 15,000 signatures needed for the process.
Montreal's department for social diversity will prepare the basic documents for the consultations.
Information about how and when they will be held will be available in the next months at ocpm.qc.ca.
