Deadline for mail ballot registration approaching
If you plan on being outside Quebec for the provincial election on October 1st, you can still vote by mail provided you file an application by September 12th.
To cast a ballot outside the province, you must have left the province less than two years ago and show an intention to come back.
Exceptions apply to people who moved out on behalf of the Quebec or Canadian governments, including to serve in the military.
More than 18,000 ballots were sent in by mail in the 2014 provincial election.
Advance polling will be held between Sept. 21st and 27th.
