Downed hydro pole cuts power in west end of city
It's going to be a long night for hundreds of Cote St. Luc and NDG residents.
Thousands of homes and businesses in the west end of the city lost electricity Monday afternoon after a hydro pole fell near Cavendish Boulevard and Cote Saint-Luc Road.
Most customers had their power restored by 7 p.m. but there are still over 1000 customers in the dark and with no heat and the utility is telling those clients to be patient.
Power isn't expected to be restored for everyone until Tuesday at 7 a.m.
