Driverless shuttle buses are back at the Olympic Park
You will be seeing driverless shuttles at the Olympic Park for the next month and a half.
The pilot project features two electric shuttles travelling between the Big O and the Viau metro, with stops at the Mouvement Desjardins offices, the Planetarium, the Sports Centre and the Montreal Tower.
The free service runs Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., starting today until October 26.
The first phase of the pilot project saw one shuttle with 800 users last year.
The Olympic Installations Board is looking at having a permanent driverless shuttle service on site.
The shuttles could possibly be used in other parts of the city.
