300 tickets, not much else, during annual Hells Angels meeting in Quebec

With the talk of more than 500 full patch and 200 supporting members of the Hells Angels descending on the small community of St-Charles-sur-Richelieu for the weekend, things could have got out of hand real fast.

But in the end, provincial police say it was an uneventful weekend and the majority of the notorious bikers cooperated with officers.

More than 300 tickets were handed out over the weekend during the Hells Angels annual Canada Run event. Most of the fines were for minor infractions such as driving on the shoulder of the road, not wearing a helmet and non-conforming motorcycle equipment.

There was one arrest made, a 52-year-old biker from Ontario was taken into custody for threatening a police officer during a routine traffic stop.
