Hells Angels lose legal battle to keep bunker

A highly visible symbol of the Hells Angels in Quebec has been ordered seized by the government.

The gang's Sherbrooke bunker will be turned over under the proceeds of crime law.

Superior Court Justice Carol Cohen ruled Monday that there was evidence the property had been used for criminal activities including conspiracy to commit murder during the biker gang war between 1994 and 2002.

The gang now has 30 days to appeal the ruling.

The property is evaluated at about $425,000.

The City of Sherbrooke claims about $46,000 in unpaid taxes.
