Jacques Cartier bridge illumination, take 2

They'll do it again Sunday night.

The second Jacques Cartier Bridge light show will be held after it was partially interrupted by some 3,000 protesting police officers May 17th.

The loud demonstration prevented many people on site to hear the musical score featuring the Orchestre Metropolitain.

Mayor Coderre called for a re-do in the wake of the protest.

The city of Montreal has since hammered out a tentative deal with the police union on pensions.

The span and some area streets will be closed for just over 2 hours beginning at 9:30 PM.

The half-hour show, which is among the many festivities marking the city's 375th anniversary, will start at 10:30 and will be livestreamed on the CTV Montreal website.
