Montreal police officers stop woman to help change flat tire
To serve, protect and help you change your tire?
It's a bit of a twist on your typical police motto, and it happened in the Ville-Marie borough Thursday at about 6:30 A.M. this morning.
A pair of police officers from Station 22 near the end of their shift went beyond the call of duty when they noticed a car with a common Montreal problem near the corner of de Maisonneuve and de Lorimier.
The car had a flat tire.
The officers and the woman all pulled into a nearby parking lot and the pair helped her swap out the flat for the car's spare tire.
Once the job was done the woman thanked her impromptu mechanics and everyone went on their way.
