Montreal police seeking potential victims of man charged with trafficking in a person under age 18

Police investigators say they're looking to identify potential victims of a man who appeared in court this month in connection with several serious charges.

A statement says they include trafficking in a person under age 18, procuring under the age of 18, assault and withholding of documents related to human trafficking.

Sulyvan Dignard was subject to a pan-Canadian arrest warrant and was arrested in Victoria, British Columbia on May 9, 2019.

The investigation showed that there could be more victims in Montréal as well as across Canada.

Anyone who may have been a victim or knows a potential victim of Sulyvan Dignard is asked to visit his neighbourhood police station or to dial 9-1-1 to file an official complaint or make a statement.
