More bad news for Deux-Montagnes train commuters
As if things couldn't get worse for commuters who use the Deux Montagnes train.
On Thursday, Transport Minister Chantal Rouleau announced the plan for Deux Montagnes train users when it shuts down for REM work in 2020.
The train will stop at Bois-Franc station and commuters will be forced to take a shuttle to Cote Vertu Metro until 2021.
What was not mentioned was that the Cote Vertu bus Terminal and the station will be closed for about three months in the summer of 2020 for development work on a new subway underground garage.
In an interview with "24 Heures" Minister Rouleau says they are aware of the situation and will deal with the closures when the time comes.
