Over 25,000 out of power across southern Quebec
Tens of thousands of customers across the region are currently in the dark. Just under 17,000 customers in Greater Montreal, along with over 12,000 in the Montérégie, have lost electricity since the beginning of this evening.
The overwhelming majority of the outages are impacting the western half of Greater Montreal, with outages reported in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Deux-Montagnes, Ville-Saint-Laurent, Notre-Dame-de-Grace, western Laval and communities across the West Island.
Hydro Quebec says that most of the outages should be resolved by the end of the night.
