Police looking for a trio of RDP pickpockets

Montreal police are asking for the public's help in finding three suspected pickpockets thought to be working in the Riviere des Prairies-Pointe aux Trembles borough.

Surveillance camera footage caught the three in action on June 30 at a grocery store at the corner of Maurice-Duplessis and Rodolphe-Forget Blvds. in RDP.

The footage showed two people trying to distract the victim while the third grabbed the wallet.

It's the most recent incident — police believe they may have been involved in other robberies.

The group comprises two women and one man — a woman in her 50s who's five feet tall and weighs 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The other woman is around 25 years old with long brown hair and glasses, standing five feet, two inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

The man is five feet, seven inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. He has brown hair, glasses, and wearing a wristwatch on his left wrist which appears to have been made of silver. He was also seen wearing a black purse.

Anyone with information on the three is being urged to call the Info-Crime tipline at 514-393-1133.
