Police looking for man who scrawled hate graffiti against women
The Montreal police hate crimes unit is looking for a man they believe wrote hate messages against women on the back door of a theatre on Gilford St. in the Plateau back in March.
Police say the crime dates back to March 8 — International Women's Day — at around 4 in the morning. They have not divulged precisely what was written.
Police have released surveillance images of the suspect, who they describe as a white man wearing a ballcap and a winter coat.
Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts is being asked to call the Montreal police confidential Info-Crime line at 514-393-1133.
