Police say threat at West Island school was a prank

There will be an increased police presence at Kuper Academy in Kirkland Wednesday after what police said was a bad joke.

Students found a note with threats on it and police were called in.

In the end, police say it was a prank and that there was no real threat.

School kept going Tuesday after the note was found and circulated on social media and there will be classes as usual on Wednesday.

Police plan to meet with the students who spread the threat.
