Quebec City man linked to threats made to Montreal mosque

A 46-year-old man from Quebec City has been arrested and linked by police to threats made towards a Montreal mosque.

Police say the man was arrested on Friday for violating conditions of prior charges.

He appeared in court via videoconference on Saturday.

Saturday morning, Quebec City police also said investigators have been able to link the man with threats made towards a Montreal mosque left in a voicemail on April 4.

The man returns to court on Monday, and at the Crown's discretion could also possibly be charged with uttering threats.
