Quebec pot law coming Thursday: report
The Quebec government will reportedly allow marijuana sales online, to be delivered only by Canada Post — which would also be required to ensure that it's delivered only to someone over age 18.
Radio-Canada is reporting the government will table its pot legislation Thursday, Nov. 16th.
It says the government plans to open 20 marijuana stores across the province, and the word cannabis will be part of the store's name.
The government is also expected to put $25 million a year over 5 years into a program to prevent drug addiction.
The federal government has said it will legalize marijuana for recreational use on Canada Day 2018.
