RECALL: Certain PC Black Label brand sauces due to glass shards
Loblaw is recalling certain President's Choice and PC Black Label brand sauces after discovering they may contain pieces of glass shards.
Items being recalled:
- President's Choice 250 mL 'Creamy Horseradish,' with the UPC of 0 60383 69304 6, and best before dates up to and include September 09, 2019.
- President's Choice 400 mL 'Thai Red Curry Cooking Sauce' with the UPC of 0 60383 99378 8, and best before dates up to and including December 15, 2019.
- PC Black Label 250 mL 'Lemon Curd,' with the UPC of 0 60383 16670 0, and best before dates up to and including September 21, 2019.
If you own any of these specific jars, you are advised to immediately throw them out or return them to the store you bought them from.
You should not consume them, as the jars may contain pieces of glass shards.
The recall was triggered Loblaw.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is now conducting an investigation, it may recall more products if it deems it necessary.
No injuries have been reported.
