Red Cross says it'll start sending out financial help to Quebec flood victims most affected
The Red Cross says it's not wasting any time.
It's launching what it calls emergency financial support for flooded homeowners in Quebec to cover urgent needs.
A spokesman says the Red Cross has, so far, collected 3-million dollars, that it plans to give $600 per family for those most affected.
"We need everyone to register, so we could contact them, get the quick information we need and then identify those ones that we will be sending the money to", said vice president Pascal Mathieu.
