Shelves still empty at Société québécoise du cannabis
It may be a New Year, but not much has changed at Quebec's provicially-run cannibis shops.
A shortage of available products, which has plagued the Société québécoise du cannabis since its first week of operations, remains an ongoing challenge and the SQDC can't say when consumers can to see an improvement.
In the meantime, the provincial retailer's reduced business hours remain in place. SQDC outlets are open weekly between Thursday and Sunday.
Most brick-and-mortar shops continue to have empty shelves and it's not much better online. A report in La Presse says that 38 of the 47 types of dried cannabis carried by the SQDC were out of stock.
