Toddler in hospital after police find bodies in Gatineau

Gatineau police found two bodies in an apartment near Mousette Park in the city's Hull District on Monday afternoon.

Also in the apartment was a three-year-old boy.

He was unharmed but taken to hospital as a precaution.

The dead were both adults: one man, one woman.

Police found the bodies just before 4 p.m. Monday, but have not given the exact address of the scene.

Their identities are not yet known as police were having trouble identifying the bodies and notifying their next of kin.

Police are not saying if they're treating the deaths as suspicious, but released a statement saying that they are considering all possibilities.

The investigation is ongoing.
