Tornado warning issued for parts of western Quebec
Environment Canada has issued a tornado warning for parts of western Quebec, effective 9:20pm Monday.
The warning, which affects the town of Papineauville to the northeast of Gatinueau, has been issued in response to severe thunderstorms.
Damaging winds, intense rainfall and hail are also possible. Meteorologists are advising extra care and attention in the area, and for residents to take cover if threatening weather approaches.
