Trudeau Liberals dominate Quebec in new poll

The federal election is nine months away and a public opinion poll released Monday morning shows that in Quebec there are the Liberals and then there is everyone else.

Commissioned by the Journal de Montreal,  the poll shows the Liberals have 39% of the decided vote in Quebec while the Conservatives and Bloc Quebcois have 21%, and the NDP barely register at 8% support.

Leger Marketing President Jean-Marc Leger says two takeaways from this poll is the recovery of the Bloc Quebecois, which has seen its popularity grow by six points since November and with just 8% support and little sign of movement, the NDP is in danger of not being able to win a single seat in Quebec in the fall.
