Two new 'superclinics' open in Vaudreuil-Dorion

By the fall, the town of Vaudreuil-Dorion, off the western tip of Montreal Island, will be home to not one, but two 'superclinics'.

Health minister Gaetan Barrette made the announcement Friday, alongside the minister responsible for the Montérégie region, Lucie Charlebois, and local MNA Marie-Claude Nichols.

One of the superclinics is already open — the Vaudreuil-Dorion superclinic at 600 Harwood Blvd. has been in business since April 1. Another one, the Trois-Lacs superclinic, at 85 St. Charles, is under construction and is set to open on Oct. 1.

Both will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for walk-in patients, seven days a week.

They will be the 41st and 42nd superclinics to be set up in the province.
