U2 to spend a couple of weeks rehearsing in Laval: sources
Reports are suggesting the Irish rock band U2 will be spending the next two weeks rehearsing for their upcoming tour at Laval's Place Bell.
At least two people close to the band have told the Canadian Press that the band is in the Montreal area, though everyone involved has been sworn to secrecy by non-disclosure agreements. the agreement forbid anyone close to the band to take photos or selfies with the group.
Radio-Canada reports promoter Evenko asked several of its employees to work with the band for the next two weeks.
The Radio-Canada report suggests the band will be staying at a hotel in downtown Montreal, while their technical people will be in two hotels in Laval, not far from Place Bell.
U2's eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE tour is scheduled to kick off May 2 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and come to Montreal on June 5 and 6. Those are the band's only two Canadian dates so far, and both shows are sold out.
