UPDATE: Missing mother of 6 has been found
Montreal police report Thursday that Susie Koneak, a mother of six who disappeared in Dorval on Jan. 28, has been found safe and sound. An earlier version of the story follows.
Just 24 hours after she was reportedly found, Montreal police are asking for help to locate a missing mother of six.
Susie Koneak flew to Montreal from Kuujjuaq, in Quebec's Inuit territory of Nunavik, on Jan. 28 for a doctor's appointment.
She was reported missing shortly after arriving at the Ullivik health centre in Dorval, but contacted her family Tuesday to say she was fine.
Since then, she has disappeared again and police say the family is concerned for her safety and say she could be in Verdun or St. Henri.
The 44 year old was last seen wearing a blue coat, blue hat and traditional Inuit boots with fur trim.
She has blue eyes and red hair and is five feet seven inches and weighs about 200 pounds.
