WATCH: Anjou building destroyed by fire

An overnight fire has destroyed a sign-printing business in Anjou's industrial sector early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out at around 4 a.m. in the Mirabeau building on Jules Leger St., not far from Ray Lawson. Several people were inside when the fire broke out, but no one was hurt.

The company makes signs and posters for billboards and bus shelters, meaning there was a considerable amount of plastic and solvent inside fueling the flames. Representatives from Quebec's environment ministry have been dispatched to take air quality readings around the scene of the fire.

Firefighters say the fire began in an area where the solvents are stored.
