WATCH: Police release video of depanneur shooting suspect

Montreal police released a new video on Thursday that they hope will lead them closer to the man who shot and wounded a depanneur clerk in the east end on Tuesday afternoon.

A 41-year-old woman was shot in the upper body at the depanneur in Place Frontenac, a strip mall on Ontario St. E. located near the entrance to the Frontenac metro station.

The suspect got away, and later disappeared into the metro.

On Thursday afternoon, police released a security video from the STM they say was the suspect at a metro station depanneur. The time stamp on the 15-second video shows it was shot at 1:08 p.m. Tuesday, about half an hour after the first 9-1-1 call about the Place Frontenac shooting was placed.

Police say the suspect is about 40 years old.
