WATCH: TMR family miffed after mail carrier helps himself to tomatoes and strawberries

A TMR family says an apology will do.

Security footage shows the mail carrier's been helping himself to tomatoes and strawberries in its garden.

Paula Habib told CTV the produce began vanishing last month.

"We had a full set of tomatoes and then all of a sudden the tomatoes started going down. We didn't take any ourselves; we thought it was the squirrels," said Habib.

It turned out the carrier was even snacking on the neighbor's produce.

Canada Post says it has spoken with the family, adding it's aware of the case, but had yet to comment on it.

Habib also said the postman could also offer some restitution – if he replaces the plants or offers the family a strawberry pie or some tomato sauce, all will be forgiven.
