A video of a man being arrested at Guy-Concordia metro station one evening last week has been making the rounds of social media for the past day or so.
The video was apparently shot around 7 p.m. last Friday. The man who posted it, Greg Ory, says he allegedly tried to use his girlfriend's transit pass to get into the metro.
A couple of metro security guards, one in uniform and one plainclothes officer, proceed to arrest the man, while a woman, presumably the girlfriend, is heard screaming.
Montreal police told CTV Montreal the 33-year-old man in the video uttered death threats to STM workers. The STM says it intends to press charges against the man for that.
The STM also says their inspectors use force based on the person's bahavior and proper security techniques.
