Weekend Road Closures: May 11 - 14, not as bad as it could be
It's another weekend and that means more road closures in and around Montreal.
Traveling through the Turcot Interchange will be difficult due to several closures. The good news if you're traveling downtown from the West Island via Highway 20 the usual closure of Route 136 (new Ville Marie) will not be in effect this weekend. The bulk of the work will be on Highway 15.
The following ramps and roads are closed between Friday at 10:00 P.M. until Monday at 5:00 A.M.:
- Highway 20 East to Highway 15 North
- Highway 15 South to Highway 20 West
- Highway 15 South to Highway 136 (New Ville Marie)
- Highway 136 to Highway 15 North
- Highway 15 North between Highway 20 (Exit 63) and Sherbrooke St. entrance.
- de La Vérendrye Blvd. entrance to Highway 15 North
During the same time De Courcelle St/Glen Rd. will be closed between Saint-Jacques St and Sainte-Catherine St West and Notre-Dame St between will be off limits between Monk and Côte-Saint-Paul Rd.
Work on the New Champlain Bridge will have crews closing the eastbound side of Marie-Victorin Blvd. between the exit for Highway 10 and the following entrance.
The Mercier Bridge will be down to one lane in both directions from Saturday 2:00 P.M. until Monday at 5:00 A.M. The Airlie St. entrance to the Mercier will be closed during the same time frame, but will be accessible to buses only between 7:00 A.M. and 10:00 P.M.
