What you need to know about voting in Monday's Quebec election
Quebecers vote in a provincial election on Monday and here's what you should know.
Polling stations open at 9:30 AM and close at 8 PM.
You'll need a couple of things to ensure you can cast a ballot; your voter card and a piece of identification.
Voters are encouraged to bring their children, although, of course, not exactly for the same reason.
Kids will have their own ballot, which they will put in a special ballot box.
They'll be able to answer the following question: "why do you think it is important to vote?"
Four choices will be offered as answers.
71 percent of voters cast a ballot in the 2014 general election and Elections Quebec hopes even more will exercise their right to vote on Monday.
Already, more than 1.1 million Quebecers voted in the advance polls, around 18 percent of those registered to vote.
CJAD 800's election results coverage begins Monday night at 8.
Our special programming will feature Tom Mulcair, Aaron Rand and Leslie Roberts.
