Where's the planned Big 0 ski jump ramp planned for this month?

The city of Montreal has spent $230,000, but, it seems, there's nothing to show for it.

The goal was to put together a so-called "Big Air" event this month outside the Olympic stadium.

All part of the city's 375th anniversary celebrations.

The company given the money to study the project is reporting a delay, but it's not clear what that is.

Ski jumpers would zoom down the inclined tower of the Olympic Stadium with 80,000 spectators watching below.

The event came with $12 million in potential economic spinoffs.

"This event as approved by all municipal parties and a panel of experts in 2015. Since then, several cheques totalling $230,000 have beebn paid for a feasibility study to a company called Skying Montreal, but Projet Montreal used Access to Information and found out that company is in trouble", reported CTV's Max Harrold.

A spokesperson for Mayor Denis Coderre said the opposition's attack is unfounded, adding the study is still in the works.

It now looks like the ramp will be ready in December, 2018 at the earliest.
