Woman hit by car Saturday night has died
The 23-year-old woman who was struck by a car on Saturday night has died.
According to police the young woman was attempting to jaywalk across Saint-Denis near the Duluth Ave. Investigators said the driver was not able to avoid the collision.
Speed was not a factor.
The woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries to her head. Montreal police confirmed Monday she died as a result of her injuries.
This is seventh fatal accident involving a pedestrian in Montreal this year.
