The Hitman Beer Is Here!
…oh boy, this is cool. Not only a new beer, but a local one, that pays tribute to a local wrestling legend. Well done, Village.
If you haven’t heard, we released our new summer seasonal yesterday, The Village Hitman - Citrus Hibiscus Ale. This brew honours the one and only @BretHart, a true community builder and legend in #YYC and around the world. Find it in your local shop and at the brewery, now. pic.twitter.com/tLldHugZqO— Village Brewery (@villagebrewery) March 29, 2018
FYI, it’s delicious. We test drove some the other day. More from the Calgary Herald, here:
A Little Bohemian Rhapsody, Gentlemen?
…a new study has revealed the most popular song for people to sing to while driving, and really, if you consider the movie that it’s from, this really isn’t much of a shock: https://goo.gl/e5cZer
Conor McGregor Showed Up To Raise Hell In Brooklyn
…and finally, boy, did the fertilizer ever hit the ventilator in Brooklyn yesterday. Conor McGregor isn’t defending his 155 pound UFC belt this weekend. But he did show up to to Media Day after flying in on a private jet, and when he got there, he raised hell:
Conor’s boss Not pumped. At least, not publicly pumped. You know he doesn’t hate the buzz this generates for the fight this weekend.
Oh, and one of the most surprising things yesterday? Nate Diaz coming to McGregor’s defence.
He shouldn't have been trying to punk his boy when he was alone, like a bully. Then he expects not to get rolled on fukn rookie..— Nathan Diaz (@NateDiaz209) April 5, 2018
And then stay on the bus
haha u guys got punked ....
So, why’d it all happen? It seems the whole thing stems from an incident involving Khabib Nurmagomedov, one of Conor’s biggest rivals, and Artem Lobov, one of McGregor’s teammates, at a Brooklyn hotel the other night: https://goo.gl/rXHSFv
