Listen to Guns N' Roses 1986 Sound City Session of Welcome to the Jungle!

The first thought that went through my mind when listening to this was ...Wow, this live recording session sounds better than some finished songs I've heard with other rock bands. It has depth and purpose.

You can hear the talent in the writing and performance from Guns N' Roses who sound young and hungry during this stage of the Band.

Before this, Producer Manny Charlton (Nazareth guitar player) had recorded first takes of Shadow of Your Love, Paradise City, November Rain, Move to the City and Reckless Life before having to return to Europe to be with Nazareth.

So in comes Producer Mike Klink to finish Shadow of Your Love and all the other Appetite song recording sessions that would make up the debut Guns N' Roses album Appetite for Destruction.
