The Calgary Flames Leave For China This Week, And Their Private Plane Is CRAZY.
The Calgary Flames open their preseason schedule with two exhibition games against the Boston Bruins in a much different setting than previous years. This Saturday in Shenzhen, China, and next Wednesday in Shanghai.
The hope is that the team will not only get to showcase their game to a new international market, but also bond together in a pretty unique setting. And their transportation? Yeah, it's pretty fancy. Probably should be if you're traveling almost 11,000 kilometres, for fourteen hours, over twelve time zones. Have a look: https://www.airx.aero/#big-1
"It's going to be really cool to go to China. I've never been there so I'm really excited to see what it's all about."— Calgary Flames (@NHLFlames) September 10, 2018
