Why New Year's Resolutions?

The Romans did it, Medivel Knights did it, The Ancient Babylonians did it and now we here in the Western First World do it. Yes, The grand New Year's Resolutions self worth promise ...Ugh. As you can tell I'm not a fan. What's the diffrerence of deciding a life changing goal on any other day of the year? Say I want to quit smoking and I tell myself this on July 24th BUT I will only execute this decision on January 1st. Yes, these kind of people exist. Hey, I really want to lose weight and feel better( I say to myself on May 16th), so I think I'll make that my New Year's Resolution coming up in 8 months, BUT first I'll ram down all this McDonald's and go lay in a ditch for an hour.

It's not hard to come up with the top resolutions, but I dug up the top Resolution Stats for Canada/States:

-Lose weight and Exercise = Nope

-Quit Smoking = Nope

-Take a Vacation = Don't forget to Facebook it

-Manage Debt = Nope

Seriously, to each their own. What works for some might not work for others. If you are hitting your goals for 2018 and started on the 1st, all the power to you. Stay healthy and happy in 2018.

I'm still coming off my Holiday 2017 diet like:
