Dierks Bentley, "The Mountain"

It was a rather interesting process that led Dierks Bentley to set out and record The Mountain, his upcoming ninth studio album. Apparently, he was just following a vibe!

It lead him all the way to Coloradio with a team of writers, to forge the songs and record the album. The Mountain resonates on themes of exploration, but in the spiritual and literal sense, and a sort-of excavation of the soul!

At a recent press conference, Dierks told reporters about the process about The Mountain and what brought him to Colorado for it. When he first arrived in Telluride, the city where the recording process happened, he absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere and decided it was the perfect place to record the album. Desbite the connection the music has to mountains, he drew inspiration from the metaphors around the process of climbinb mountains.

Sounds like a really interesting album! It's scheduled to be released sometime during 2018.
