    Country 105 is teaming up with Jason Blaine to support MUSIC COUNTS to put instruments into the hands of kids who need them the most. From April 16th – 30th, you can bid on exclusive prizes from some of Country’s biggest stars, including Jason Blaine, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Dean Brody, High Valley, James Barker Band and more. You can also bid on exclusive festival packages from Big Valley Jamboree, Dauphine Music Fest, Sunfest, The Junos and CCMA’s. Whether it is recreation, drama, sport, volunteerism, dance or art,National Youth Week is a time to honour their involvement. National Youth Week is not a program, but rather a movement. Tuesday, May 1 KICK - OFF EVENT - R U Ready 3 - Youth Expressive Art Showcase in support of Team 55 open mic, variety show, poetry slam and more. Featuring the artistic talents of “Peterborough Performs”, Door prizes.   • Willow Spring Artisan Show - May 6

    This curated artisan market features the work of 20 high calibre artisans, and includes fine jewellery, pottery, glasswork, visual arts, fibre arts, and natural & herbal products. This event was created as a way of continuing the "shop local" spirit of Towns & Leahy Mercantile and Deli, located in Douro's historic P.G Towns building recently lost in a fire. So, come out and meet the artists, find some one-of-a-kind gifts, and just enjoy yourself. Visitors will have a chance to win gift baskets containing work by the participating artists, and the first 50 people at the door will receive a complimentary gift. Proceeds from the door will be donated to the Douro-Dummer Firefighters Association (who support the Township Fire Services), and who lost equipment during their heroic efforts to extinguish and contain the fire.
