• Ptbo Curling Club Open House & Registration - Sept 25

    Drop by the Peterborough Curling Club & check out the facilities between 6 pm & 8 pm. Meet the league convenors & find out what the Olympic sport of curling is all about. There is a great Adult Learn to Curl league Thursday evenings for new curlers. For the kids (7 – 18) the Youth Recreational & Development league offers a fun & social atmosphere Sunday mornings – 10 am to 12:30 pm. The first three lessons in the Youth league are free! All equipment is provided in both leagues. The curling season begins Oct 10 & runs through to end of March. On-line registration is also available at www.peterboroughcurlingclub.ca. Curling is a fun, active, affordable sport.

  • Elder Abuse Free Workshop - Sept 28

    The abuse of older adults is everyone’s business. Seniors and community members need to be informed about elder abuse, be able to recognize the signs and be engaged in taking steps to prevent it. It’s important to remember that EVERYONE can help and has a role to play to prevent elder abuse. Pre-Registration is preferred, all walk-in welcome.
