Montreal’s Arcade Fire is returning to Saturday Night Live.
The band is booked to perform on the March 17 episode, which will be hosted by former SNL cast member Bill Hader.
This will be Arcade Fire’s fourth time as musical guest – they were on SNL in 2007, 2010, and 2013. (In 2012, the band backed Mick Jagger on the show.)
Arcade Fire is the first Canadian musical act on SNL this season. Last season's guests included The Weeknd, Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara.
Since it debuted in 1975, the show has had nine Canadian female solo artists and nine Canadian male solo artists on as musical guests (some of whom appeared more than once) but only a handful of Canadian groups – including Barenaked Ladies, The Tragically Hip, and Cowboy Junkies.
SNL also announced Tuesday that Migos will perform on the March 3 episode and James Bay is booked for the March 10 show.
